Celebrating Rakshabandhan with Creativity and Tradition at Himalaya International School, Ratlam

Under the theme “Creeks of Creativity,” the occasion of Rakshabandhan was celebrated with creativity and richness of culture manifested at Himalaya International School, Ratlam. The kids unveiled their creative, artistic souls with festivity through many interesting competitions synced to pay respect and regard for the lovely sibling bond.
Sweet Treat Throwdown – Fireless Sweet Making: Grades 3 to 5 End
The youngest participants from Grades 3 to 5 took on the challenge to create some delicious treats in the Sweet Treat Throwdown. Equipped with nimble hands and creative minds, the sweet-tooth students came up with an array of scrumptious fireless sweets—from coconut ladoos to chocolate bites.
Rakhi Making: Grades 6 to 8
Students came up with exquisite rakhis, right from the traditional threads and beads to eco-friendly elements. Every rakhi was an expression of creativity—thus displaying an outpouring of love and care that the festival is meant to be.
Thali Decoration Competition: Grades 9 and 10
It was really a visual treat—the children decorated traditional thalis with intricate designs done on them, flowers, diyas, and motifs depicting Rakshabandhan.
The Rakshabandhan celebrations at Himalaya International School, Ratlam, were a fine blend of tradition, creativity, and happiness. Through such competitions, the students not only celebrate the very essence of Rakshabandhan but unleash their creative potential and make it a memoir day, full of festival spirit.
