Keeping in sync with this thought, Himalaya International School has conducted “Environmental Quiz Bee ”
In the precious presence and guidance of Respected Academic Director Mr. H. S. Khalsa.
The Environmental Quiz Bee Competition, held on 24-07-2024 at Himalaya International School brought together enthusiastic participants from all four houses that is Jaguar, Lion, Panther, and Tiger the event aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote eco-consciousness among students.
The competition consisted of several rounds testing participants’ knowledge on various environmental topics such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and environmental policies. Each round featured challenging questions designed to gauge both factual knowledge and understanding of environmental concepts.
The quiz bee was structured into preliminary rounds followed by semi-finals and a final round. Teams competed fiercely, demonstrating their depth of knowledge and quick thinking in response to questions posed by the moderators.
Participants displayed excellent teamwork and camaraderie, supporting each other throughout the competition.
The team Panther was the winner, the team Tiger was the first runner-up and the team Lion was the second runner-up…
The Environmental Quiz Bee Competition not only highlighted the knowledge and dedication of the participating students but also underscored the importance of environmental education in schools. It served as a platform to inspire young minds to become proactive stewards of the environment, equipped with the knowledge needed to tackle pressing environmental challenges.
Moving forward, it is hoped that events like this will continue to foster a sense of responsibility and action among youth towards environmental sustainability.
