HIS-MUN 3.0 | Where Young Minds Shaped Global Dialogue

Himalaya International School, Ratlam proudly hosted the third edition of its Model United Nations Conference, HIS-MUN 3.0, continuing the strong tradition established over the past two years. The two-day conference commenced with a formal Opening Ceremony on 13 December 2025 and concluded successfully with the Valedictory and Award Ceremony on 14 December 2025.

The conference began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a graceful Saraswati Vandana performed by students, setting a dignified and inspiring tone. The unveiling of the official MUN banner formally marked the start of the proceedings.

The event was graced by the presence of Chairman Mr. Sunil Dora, Mrs. Honey Dora, Directors Mr. Aryan Dora and Mr. Aditya Dora, Academic Director Mr. H. S. Khalsa, and Principal Mrs. Sonal Bhatt. Their guidance and encouragement added significant value to the conference. This year, experienced external MUN experts conducted an intensive two-day training programme, strengthening delegates’ understanding of diplomacy, global issues, and parliamentary procedure.

HIS-MUN 3.0 featured four engaging committees: UNSC, UNHRC, Lok Sabha, and International Press. Delegates participated in in-depth discussions on key global and national issues, including Global AI Legislation and Cyber Terrorism (UNSC), Gender-Based Violence and State Accountability (UNHRC), and Transparency and Efficiency in India’s Electoral System (Lok Sabha). Each committee showcased rigorous research, constructive debate, and responsible diplomacy.

The International Press played a vital role by documenting proceedings and presenting balanced coverage throughout the conference. After extensive deliberations, committees presented their resolutions, which were put to vote, reflecting the principles of democratic decision-making.
