Honoring Teachers: A Celebration of Gratitude and Dedication

On Teacher’s Day, celebrated on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the students of Himalaya International School, Ratlam, paid due respect and gratitude to their mentors in pomp and memorable style on 5th September. Enthusiasm knew no bounds as the students of Grades 11 and 12 came together to create a touching and delightful program, replete with surprises for their dear teachers.

The ceremony began with the holy Saraswati Pujan to invoke the blessings of the goddess of wisdom and knowledge. Reverence was marked as dignitaries from the school, including Chairman Mr. Sunil Dora, Mrs. Honey Dora, Director Mr. Aditya Dora, Academic Director Mr. H.S. Khalsa, Principal Mrs. Sonal Bhatt, and Headmistress Mrs. Prachi Kapoor, paid respect to the portrait of Dr. Radhakrishnan, the symbol of learning and inspiration behind this celebration.

Students worked tirelessly to make this event special, with heartfelt speeches and innovative performances serving as tokens of appreciation for their teachers’ guidance and dedication.
