Van Mahotsav Celebration at Himalaya International School, Ratlam!

On 1st July 2024, the students of Himalaya International School, Ratlam, celebrated Van Mahotsav with unparalleled zeal and enthusiasm! The day was marked by a vibrant array of activities, beginning with a Special Morning Assembly presented by the talented Grade 11 Commerce students. Their presentation set the tone for an inspiring day dedicated to nature and environmental stewardship.

Following the assembly, students from Grade 3 to 9 took part in a spirited plantation activity within the lush green campus of Himalaya School. The sight of young hands planting saplings with dedication and care was truly heartwarming and a testament to the school’s commitment to a sustainable future.

The event was graced by the presence of Academic Director Mr. H.S. Khalsa, Principal Mrs. Sonal Bhatt, and H.M. Mrs. Prachi Kapoor. Their participation in the plantation activity, alongside the students, highlighted the collective effort needed to protect our environment. They also led the students in taking a solemn pledge to always protect and preserve plants for a greener and cleaner tomorrow.

The day’s events not only fostered a sense of responsibility towards nature but also strengthened the community spirit among students and staff.
